The Fordham Office of International & Study Abroad Programs (ISAP) offers a number of opportunities for studying in Ireland.

Students may go for a semester or for an entire year and have a range of choices as to which universities they attend during their time there.

At present, the Office of Study Abroad offers direct enrollment programs at University College Dublin (Arts and Commerce), Trinity College Dublin, University College Cork, National University of Ireland at Galway; Queen's University Belfast, and University of Ulster in Northern Ireland.

Universities

Trinity College – Trinity is Ireland’s oldest University. Founded in 1592 by a charter from Queen Elizabeth I.

University College Dublin – University College Dublin is Ireland’s largest university. The University provides a broad range of Bachelors, Masters and PhD degrees in subjects grouped into 11 faculties.

Dublin City University – Dublin City University was originally founded in 1975 as the National Institute for Higher Education, and four-years-later, took over the present campus and grounds in the northern suburbs of Dublin.

University College Cork – University College Cork (UCC) was founded in 1845 as Queen's College Cork and is now a constituent university of the National University of Ireland.

NUI Galway – The National University of Ireland, Galway was founded in 1845 as Queen's College Galway. It became a constituent university of the National University of Ireland in 1997

NUI Maynooth – The first College of Maynooth, under the patronage of the Fitzgeralds, was established in 1518. In 1795 St. Patrick's College Maynooth was established as a seminary by an Act of the British Parliament, and it was opened to lay students in 1966

University of Limerick – The University of Limerick, three miles from Limerick City, is situated in a park-like campus on the banks of the River Shannon and is the centerpiece of Ireland's National Technological Park, one of the country's premier business locations.

Queen’s University Belfast – Queen's, which recently celebrated its 150th anniversary, is one of the oldest universities in the U.K.

University of Ulster – The University of Ulster is a large, modern university located on four campus sites across Northern Ireland: Coleraine, Jordanstown, Belfast and Magee in Londonderry. Coleraine is on the River Bann, a few miles inland from the magnificent North Coast and near the Giant's Causeway, a World Heritage site.
