At an Aug. 15 symposium, several Fordham students presented findings from their summer research in the Calder Summer Undergraduate Research (CSUR) program, now in its 15th year.

The students' original conservation biology and environmental policy-related research was done over a ten-week period at Fordham's 113-acre Calder Biological Field Station. Each student was mentored by a member of the Fordham faculty.

Founded in 1841, Fordham is the Jesuit University of New York, offering exceptional education distinguished by the Jesuit tradition to more than 15,100 students in its four undergraduate colleges and its six graduate and professional schools. It has residential campuses in the Bronx and Manhattan, a campus in West Harrison, N.Y., the Louis Calder Center Biological Field Station in Armonk, N.Y., and the London Centre at Heythrop College in the United Kingdom. 08/12
