Midnight Breakfast
Joseph M. McShane, S.J., president of Fordham University, and several other University administrators served a late-night meal to students on the first night of finals week. The President's Midnight Breakfast, held on the Rose Hill, Lincoln Center and Tarrytown campuses, is a biannual event held as a show of support for students as they prepare for their final exams.

Marymount Brunch
Members of the Marymount College of Fordham University Class of 2005 reminisced about their years at Fordham over brunch in the teahouse on May 20.

Fordham Jesuits served lunch to graduating students at the Rose Hill (left) and Lincoln Center (right) campuses on Thursday, May 19.


Law School Barrister's Ball
William M. Treanor, J.D., dean of the Fordham University School of Law, greeted more than 225 Fordham Law graduates and their guests at the Barrister's Ball, held at Tavern on the Green in Central Park on Thursday, May 19. The annual event, planned by Fordham's Student Bar Association, marks the end of the period when graduating students can contribute to their class gift. This year, 160 students raised more than $4,000.

Dean's Reception at Law School
Members of the Fordham University School of Law Class of 2005 celebrated their graduation at the annual Dean's Reception on Robert Moses Plaza at Lincoln Center campus on Thursday, May 19.


The best and brightest of Fordham College at Rose Hill assembled in the Rose Hill Gymnasium on Thursday, May 19, for Encaenia, the college's annual awards night.

GBA Cinco de Mayo
Students from the Graduate School of Business Administration's (GBA) Class of 2005 celebrated their graduation with a Cinco de Mayo Barbecue in the cafeteria atrium on the Lincoln Center campus. Other GBA senior week events included bowling at Bowlmor Lanes, an evening of laser tag and a boat ride on the Hudson River.


Baccalaureate Mass at Lincoln Center
Fordham College at Lincoln Center (FCLC) students and their families joined faculty members and administrators in the McNally Amphitheatre to celebrate a special Mass for FCLC graduates on Friday, May 20. Baccalaureate Masses were also held at the University's Rose Hill and Tarrytown campuses.

Baccalaureate Mass at Marymount
Gerald R. Blaszczak, S.J., Fordham's vice president for mission and ministry, celebrated the Marymount College of Fordham University Baccalaureate Mass on Friday, May 20, in the chapel at the convent of the Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary. Father Blaszczak was recently appointed pastor of Saint Ignatius Loyola Church in Manhattan.


ROTC Commissioning Ceremony
Twenty-five New York City Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) cadets took an oath to serve their country and were raised to the rank of second lieutenant during a commissioning ceremony at Fordham University Church on Friday, May 20. As the host institution for the New York City Army ROTC, Fordham partners with more than 100 colleges and universities in the metropolitan area. Nine of those schools, including Fordham, were represented at the commissioning ceremony.

Graduate School of Social Service Graduation Party
