One Hundred Sixty First Annual Commencement

Rose Hill Campus May 20, 2006

All degrees are conferred at the University Commencement on Saturday, May 20, 2006. However they are not individually distributed to the graduates until the school diploma ceremonies. While all graduates are invited to attend the University Commencement, graduates from the Graduate School of Business, Graduate School of Social Service and School of Law should contact their deans' offices in advance of May 20 if they wish to participate in the University Commencement at Rose Hill.

Severe Weather Plan

Because we do not have one indoor facility that is large enough to hold all our graduates and guests, the University Commencement is held outside if at all possible. However, in the event of severe weather we will move the ceremony inside and broadcast it to the various diploma ceremony locations. If the University Commencement ceremony is moved inside, graduates and guests entering the campus after 8:00 a.m. will be informed at the entrance and by recorded announcements on campus. You may also call the University at 1-800-280-7669 for a recorded announcement after 8:00 a.m. that day. If a decision is made to conduct all ceremonies indoors, graduates and guests should report to the following locations:
