Introduction to Graduate Housing

Welcome to Fordham Graduate Housing!

Summer and Fall 08 application information is now available.

We are a partnership of four Fordham graduate schools (GBA, LAW, GSS, GSE) providing affordable housing to graduate students. Housing is under the management of the Office of Residential Life at Lincoln Center.

Fordham University has allocated a number of single-occupancy only studio and one-bedroom apartments for graduate school students on the Upper East Side of  New York City. These apartments are located in a quiet and safe neighborhood. They are also very accessible to public transportation. Students living in these apartments form a community with other Fordham graduate students and gain valuable life experience.

Currently we have a limited number of apartments available. Students may sign up to be on the wait list for vacant apartments, and will be contacted when a space becomes available. Students should sign up for the wait lists as early as possible after they have been accepted into a graduate program.

The process to obtain an apartment is simple. Just follow the steps below:

  • Step #1: Look through the detailed description, floor plans, and photos of our studio and one-bedroom apartments. (Click here for studio and click here here for one-bedroom).  Also look at our extensive FAQ's section.

  • Step #2: If you are interested, check the Application page to see if applications are being accepted. Click here

  • Step #3: After we receive your request and verify your qualification, we will contact you with information about move in or joining our waitlist.

  • Step #4: If there is a vacancy and you decide to take it, we will provide you with the Residence Agreement to sign and will request payment from you.
