The Division of Psychological and Educational Services prepares individuals for positions in P–12 schools, mental health settings for counseling services in higher education, adult education, business, industry, independent psychological practice, and provides advanced training for teachers and individuals interested in research or the development and evaluation of educational programs and materials.
The programs of the Division of Psychological and Educational Services (PES) are integral for teachers, counselors, psychologists, administrators and other educators who will serve an increasingly diverse population. The programs are based on the concept of psychology as a science and a profession, integrating subfields of psychology throughout, and building on the scientist-practitioner model.
