GSAS Financial Aid Information

Fordham’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences has several different forms of financial aid. Please use the navigation links on the left hand side of this page to learn more about the financial aid specific to you.

Students may also apply for need-based financial aid (loans and federal and state aid) through the University Financial Aid Office.


Outside Support

The Graduate School of Arts and Sciences actively supports applications by qualified students for prestigious fellowships offered by external grant organizations for graduate research at various levels, particularly dissertation research. These organizations include the Fulbright Commission, the Council for European Studies, the Department of Education, the National Security Education Program, the National Science Foundation, the American Association of University Women, and the Rotary Foundation.

Qualified students interested in developing and improving applications for these and other prestigious awards should contact Dr. Regina Plunkett-Dowling in the Fulbright & Graduate Fellowships Office. Dr. Plunkett-Dowling’s main office is at Lincoln Center, but she holds office hours two days a week in 673 Faber Hall. Her email address is plunkettdowl@fordham.edu.
