The Fordham plan is Accident & Sickness insurance; it does not cover preventative medicine. It will probably be less comprehensive than any coverage you receive through your parents or a group plan from a job.

POLICY TERM
Coverage begins at 12:01 a.m. on August 23, 2012 (or the day after the postmark date of premium payment, whichever is later) and continues until 12:01 a.m. on August 23, 2013. The last date for enrollment for Fall Semester is October 12, 2012, for Spring Semester is February 22, 2013, and for Summer Session is June 21, 2013.
