PROGRAM COSTS:

FINANCIAL AID:
In academic year 2009 - 2010, 21 students Ph.D. were enrolled in the psychometrics program.  

In the psychometrics program, 14 (67%) students had stipends, including:

  • 2 (14%) distinguished fellowships
  • 7 (50%) graduate assistantships
  • 1 (5%) teaching associates
  • 1 (5%) teaching fellows
  • 3 (14%) external funding
In the psychometrics program, 16 (76%) students had scholarships, including:

TIME TO COMPLETION:

Since 2001, Fordham’s Psychometrics program has had:

  • 17students earned a master’s degree en route to a doctorate, with a median registered time to degree of 1.7 years
  • 2 students earned a doctorate with a non-Fordham master’s, with a median registered time to degree of 7.6 years
  • 13 students earned a doctorate with a Fordham master’s, with a median registered time to degree of 9.7 years for both degrees. 


INCOMING STUDENTS:

Of 9 applicants for Fall 2009, 4 (44%) made up the entering doctoral cohort.

  • 4 (100%) Ph.D. students

The entering cohort had GRE score (2007 - 2009) ranges of:


  • Verbal: 480-650
  • Quantitative: 570-710
  • Analytical Writing: 4-4.5

The average Bachelor’s GPA for incoming students:

  • 3.39
