TIME TO COMPLETION:

Since 2001, Fordham’s Biological Sciences program has had:

  • 60 masters only graduates, with a median registered time to degree of 2.0 years
  • 17 students earned a master’s degree en route to a doctorate, with a median registered time to degree of 3.7 years
  • 1 students earned a doctorate with a non-Fordham master’s, with a median registered time to degree of 5.7 years
  • 15 students earned a doctorate with a Fordham master’s, with a median registered time to degree of 7.4 years for both degrees. 


INCOMING STUDENTS:

Of 32 applicants for Fall 2009, 18 (56%) made up the entering cohort.

88% of 1st year Ph.D. students have merit based stipends and full tuition scholarships.
