TIME TO COMPLETION:

Since 2001, Fordham’s History program has had:

  • 90 masters only graduates, with a median registered time to degree of 1.7 years
  • 17 students earned a master’s degree en route to a doctorate, with a median registered time to degree of 1.0 years
  • 6 students earned a doctorate with a non-Fordham master’s, with a median registered time to degree of 9.2 years
  • 11 students earned a doctorate with a Fordham master’s, with a median registered time to degree of 10.0 years for both degrees. 


INCOMING STUDENTS:

Of 61 admitted applicants for Fall 2010, 9 (15%) made up the entering doctoral cohort.

The entering cohort had GRE score (2008 - 2010) ranges of:

100% of 1st year Ph.D. students have merit based stipends and full tuition scholarships.
