Susan Davis is the founder, president and chief executive officer of BRAC USA, an international organization that works to empower people and communities in situations of poverty, illiteracy, disease and social injustice.
A pioneer in developing holistic approaches to address complicated social needs, she has introduced innovative development approaches to improving the health, wealth, and well-being of the poorest women and their families in Africa and Asia. She is the co-author of Social Entrepreneurship: What Everyone Needs to Know (Oxford University Press, 2010) and a dynamic, engaging speaker who explores modern solutions to timeless issues.
In the 2011 Spring Gannon Lecture, Davis will discuss how investing in women creates a dramatic, positive and long-term impact on entire communities.
