Mr. Stefan Riecher, IPED Class of 2009, is a New York Correspondent for Die Welt and Die Presse.  Die Welt is a major german newspaper headquartered in Berlin while Die Presse is a leading Austria newspaper based in Vienna.  Mr. Riechert was one of the first journalists to arrive in Haiti after the Quake.  He arrived in Port-au-Prince only 36 hours after the quake and before most aid workers.  He reported from Haiti for 10 days.
