Communitas '12 activites will include graduate student research presentations, the dean's reception and the Spring Gannon Lecture by Kamal Y. Azari, Ph.D., GSAS '88, a native of Iran, political science and Iranian studies researcher, and developer of Azari Vineyard, an award-winning, full production-vineyard in Sonama County, California.

He will be interviewed by John P. Entelis, Ph.D., Professor of Political Science and Director of the Middle East Studies Program at Fordham University.

Communitas celebrates GSAS scholarly achievements past and future.  Join current GSAS students, faculty and alumni for networking, academic dialogue and the graduate student research presentations at Fordham University's Rose Hill campus.

The Gannon Lecture Series, which began in the fall of 1980, brings distinguished individuals to Fordham to deliver public lectures on topics of their expertise.  Fordham alumni endowed the series to honor the Rev. Robert I. Gannon, S.J., president of Fordham University from 1936 to 1949, who was an outstanding and popular speaker.
