Miraj Desai, a clinical doctoral student from the Psychology Department was awarded a Minority Fellowship by the American Psychology Association. This 3-year fellowship carries an annual stipend of $20,000 and opens lots of doors professionally for the recipients. Miraj is excited that the award will help him conduct some very ambitious cross-cultural, mental health reception for his dissertation comparing South Asians in the US, Great Britain, and India.
