Graduates Urged to see Identity Complexities in World Conflicts

IPED student, Wander Cendeño, GSAS '12, Accepted as NYC Urban Fellow

IPED
applicants for Catholic Relief Services' International Fellowships were accepted:
  • Ms. Erin Atwell currently interning with CRS in Rwanda, will be serving as a Fellow with CRS in Burundi.
  • Ms. Emily Groene, currently interning with CRS in Burkina Faso will be serving as a Fellow with CRS in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
  • Ms. Emily MacGruder, currently interning with CRS in Sierra Leone wil be serving as a Fellow with CRS in Senegal.
Entrance into the International Development Fellows Program is highly competitive and nornally leads to full-time employment with Catholic Relief Services (CRS). 

Anthony Bradley
, Ph.D., masters student in ethics and society, has published a book, scheduled for release on March 1, 2012, titled The Political Economy of Liberation: Thomas Sowell and James Cone on the Black Experience.

Sara Douglass, a 4th year Applied Developmental Psychology student was awarded a grant from the Society for Research in Adolescence.

Louie Dean Valencia-Garcia, a Ph.D. student in the history department, has a diverse set of skills and demonstrates mastery at all of them.
