When will I find out if my abstract is accepted? The deadline for submission if February 16, we hope to give notice of acceptances within 2 weeks of that date.
How long should my presentation be? Each panel will have 3-5 presenters. Smaller panels will have more lattitude, but ideally a presentation should be 15-20 minutes. Each panel will last for 1.5 hours.
What technology will be available?
TBD. In your registration form, please let us know what technology you require.
Do I have to register? YES, you have to register to confirm your attendance. We will be serving a complimentary continental breakfast and Lunch as well as holding a reception for which we need to have fairly accurate attendance numbers. Even your guests will need to register in order to attend the reception.
Do I need a Hand-Out?
No, but If you plan on having a hand-out with your presentation, I would recommend bringing about 20 copies with you (each of the conference rooms seats up to 20 people).
May I bring guests? Many of you have asked whether guests are allowed to attend the conference. This conference is free and open to the public, but we do ask that they register in advance for accurate numbers. Guests will not be allowed to attend the reception without a nametag (received upon registration). We encourage you to bring as many guests as you would like!
Is there parking on campus? Yes, there is on campus parking available at the Southern Boulevard entrance for $11/day.
