Back to GSA Conference: Inequality

Propose a Paper or Panel

We invite papers and panel/session proposals from all disciplines focusing on works from any period that explore inequality as it is discussed in literature, philosophy, theory, art, film, science, or society and its effects on the study of the same. Possible topics falling under this heading include, but are not limited to: Pedagogy; Gender; Race; Education; Representation; Love; Death; Science; and Society.

A panel proposal should fit the theme of our conference and yet be general enough to encourage inter-disciplinary interest.  We wish to particularly encourage panels on pedagogical and social issues as well as academic ones.  The Panel organiser will be responsible for choosing from among the submitted abstracts as well as organising the panel on the day.  A panel proposal should be no more than 500 words and submitted by January 19.  We will accept panels on a rolling basis until the deadline.

***NOTE: DEADLINE EXTENDED until January 26 for panel proposals.

You may submit an abstract for a particular panel or to the general pool.  We will group accepted abstracts submitted to the general pool into appropriate panels once the deadline has passed.  An abstract should be no more than 300 words and submitted by February 16.
