  • There are 9 single-gender apartments, for a building total of 44 graduate students and 1 graduate manager.

Upper East Side Apartments

Single occupancy and one-bedroom apartments are available on the Upper East Side of Manhattan (81st Street, between York and East End), managed by the Office of Residential Life at Lincoln Center. Typically, these apartments are for Law students and graduate students at the Lincoln Center campus. However, it is possible for GSAS students to rent one of these apartments.

Non-University Managed Apartments:

GSAS Housing Assistance Project

The GSAS Dean's office provides a network of students looking for roommates, and maintains a list of private off-campus housing, mostly in the Belmont neighborhood, as well as in Inwood.

  • The roommate listing is updated the most frequently, although take note of the date of the posting, as old postings are still up.
  • The page provides a helpful overview of neighborhoods where GSAS students live, as well as tips on searching for apartments.

More information can be obtained at the GSAS Housing Webpage  or by calling the GSAS Dean's Office at 718.817.4400
