Housing for Graduate Students

Fordham does not offer any on-campus housing options for GSAS students. Most GSAS students live off campus in non-University sponsored housing.  Here are some off-campus options:

University-Managed Apartments:

Arthur II (Bronx)

Arthur II is a University-operated graduate housing unit located at 2484-2488 Arthur Avenue, roughly two blocks from the Rose Hill campus. Click here for a map displaying Arthur II's location.
  • Each apartment includes five furnished single bedrooms, one and onehalf bathrooms, a furnished living room and dining room as well as a full kitchen.
  • There are 9 single-gender apartments, for a building total of 44 graduate students and 1 graduate manager.
  • Payments are due at the beginning of the semester in both August and January (and May, if applicable).
  • Only registered full-time graduate students will be considered for housing.
Application Process: Contact the Office of Residential Life at Rose Hill at 718.817.3080 or email for further information and an application

Upper East Side Apartments

Single occupancy and one-bedroom apartments are available near the Lincoln Center Campus, managed by the Office of Residential Life at Lincoln Center . Typically, these apartments are for Law students and graduate students at the Lincoln Center campus. However, it is possible for GSAS students to rent one of these apartments.

Other Options:

Undergraduate Dorms: Residence Directors
Second year graduate students may serve as Resident Directors  in the Fordham dorms. Resident Directors receive free housing, tuition remission, and a stipend. Contact the  Office of Residential Life to find out more about the application process. You should contact the office early during your first year because they accept applications in the Spring.
