GSAS Professional Development Workshop Series

GSAS’s Professional Development Workshop Series was created in the fall of 2007 to foster GSAS students’ career development. Each semester the Office of Student Development covers topics ranging from publishing in a particular field, to the place of women in academia, to using technology to successfully market oneself. The program invites successful GSAS alumni and faculty to discuss issues related to career socialization and preparation in a small and personal seminar atmosphere.

Through the Professional Development Workshop series, GSAS connect current students with alumni and faculty, building a network that can provide them with informational interviews, professional advice, and potential mentors in their fields of interest.
