GSE Standards, Dispositions, and Conceptual Framework

As the Graduate School of Education (GSE) continues to stay ahead of the fast-paced changes taking place in the preparation of education professionals, I would like to call to your attention some important information concerning our expectations of you our valued students. Over the past few years, the faculty and administration of GSE have been working together to make explicit the mission of our school and the conceptual framework which provides the foundation for all GSE programs. From this conceptual framework, we have clearly articulated the school-wide standards to which we hold all GSE students and the professional dispositions we expect them to demonstrate.

Please take some time to familiarize yourself with these GSE standards and dispositional expectations. In addition to the judgments that faculty make about your performance against the standards in your specific program of study, they will also periodically assess your performance as they relate to the GSE standards and dispositional expectations.
