Fall 2013 Academic Calendar

Deadline to apply on-line for January 2014 graduation is December 30, 2013.
Deadline to apply online for May 2014 graduation is February 5, 2014.

SEPTEMBER

2	Labor Day -- University closed
3-4	In-person Registration at Lincoln Center and Westchester (3-6PM)
4	Classes begin at Lincoln Center and Westchester.
12	Last day to submit religious school scholarship application for Fall
15	Mass of the Holy Spirit, Rose Hill campus
17	Last day to withdraw from a Fall 2013 course without incurring a W (withdrawal) and tuition charges. Online Add/Drop ends.
20	Last day for removal of INC, ABS, and NGR grades incurred during the Summer Session II. Unresolved grades become administrative failures after this date.

OCTOBER

14	Columbus Day -- University closed
18	Make-up session for Monday classes (Columbus Day)
21	Academic advising for matriculated students for Spring 2014 courses begins.
23	Last day for dissertations to be submitted to academic unit chairs for potential January 2014 degree conferral. Oral defense of the dissertation must occur PRIOR TO the deadline for submitting for format review.

NOVEMBER

4	Online registration begins for Spring 2014 courses
26	Last day for submission of dissertation for format review. Dissertations received after this day will not be reviewed in time for a potential January 2014 degree conferral.
27 - Dec 1	Thanksgiving Recess -- University closed

DECEMBER

21	Final day for registration for Spring 2014 semester without late charge.
21	Last day of classes for Fall 2013 semester
22	Winter recess begins
30	Deadline to apply online for January 2014 graduation

JANUARY

2	University reopens
15-16	In-person Spring Registration at Lincoln Center and Westchester (3-6PM)
16	Classes begin at Lincoln Center and Westchester
20	Martin Luther King, Jr. Day -- University closed
