I made the decision to go to graduate school after working in a different field for nearly two years. Changing careers and returning to life as a student was a monumental decision and I know how overwhelming the process can seem. As a GSE Ambassador I hope I can make the application and decision process less arduous. Please feel to email me about the application process, academics, life in NYC or any other questions that may arise. No question is too insignificant or small and I will do my best to provide you with the resources or first-hand accounts that can make your transition to graduate school as smooth as possible.

Why I Chose Fordham
After already living in NYC for six years I was partial to staying in what I consider to be the greatest city in the world. Rich with culture, energy, and opportunity, I was looking for a graduate school that could offer similar qualities.
At Fordham, I found wonderful balance between a well-renowned university and a tight-knit community that I find so important when you live in an enormous metropolis.
Future Aspirations
After I complete my degree I hope to work as a school psychologist focusing on students with special needs and introducing new programs that bridge the gap between research in the field and practice.
I have a desire to work at a district-wide level to assist in program development that could improve the quality of education for students and provide additional support for families and staff. I also wish to pursue my PhD and ultimately earn licensure.
Additionally, I have a strong interest in the burgeoning world of school neuropsychology and would like to receive additional training as this field continues to grow and change the profession. In the distant future I would love to go into private practice and work with at-risk youth, children with special needs, and their families.
