The Fordham PSO/CFN 551 has arranged to have a professional development session on how to develop and implement Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Interventions Plans (BIPs). The training session is being held on Friday, May 10, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This workshop will be conducted by Kay Cook, Behavior Specialist from the Regional Special Education – Technical Support Center.
Please send two staff persons from your school who have not been previously trained in this process, preferably a clinician (psychologist, guidance counselor or social worker) and teacher.
