The Psychological Services Institute (PSI) at Fordham University is an accredited, non-profit mental health training center for mental health professionals.


Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) Training

Training in Harassment, Bullying, Cyberbullying, and Discrimination in Schools: Prevention and Intervention

Effective December 31, 2013, all individuals applying for Certification in New York State schools are required to complete six clock hours of training in harassment, bullying and discrimination prevention under the Dignity for All Students Act (DASA).

The PSI is proud to be an approved provider of DASA training by the New York State Education Department. 

The workshops are open only to Fordham students.

Are DASA trainings mandatory for all students at Fordham’s Graduate School of Education?
DASA training is only required for those students seeking certification to work in schools in New York State.

What is the fee for the DASA workshop? Can it be waived?
The fee for this DASA training is $80.00 for Fordham students and will be billed to your Fordham account.

Do I have to take a DASA training at Fordham if I’ve already taken it elsewhere?
You do not have to re-take a DASA training at Fordham if you have already taken it elsewhere. However you must be able to provide verification to the New York State Education Department to receive your certification.
