Fr. Beirne is a visiting professor as of 2008. He served as President of Le Moyne College, Syracuse, N.Y., 2000-2007, and during the 1990’s as academic vice president at The Universidad Centroamericana (UCA) in El Salvador and the Universidad Rafael Landívar in Guatemala, and Santa Clara University in California. Earlier he had been principal at Colegio San Ignacio, San Juan, Puerto Rico and Regis High School, New York City, and Associate Dean of the School of Business at Georgetown University.
