Current Graduates
Beginning with August 2012 graduates of the Graduate School of Religion and Religious Education, completion of this overview survey replaces the requirement for the overview paper. Please complete the form by July 15th for August graduates, November 15th for February graduates, and April 15th for May graduates. The survey will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and must be completed in one sitting (partial work cannot be saved). Most questions are required and must be answered for submission. We appreciate your thoughts in completing this survey. If you have questions regarding the survey please contact Patrick Holt at Holt@fordham.edu.

Commencement
August 2012, February 2013 and May 2013 graduates are welcome and encouraged to attend Fordham University's 168th Annual Commencement on May18th 2013.
Students must apply for graduation on my.fordham.edu (student tab, self service banner, student folder) as follows:
September 1st for February
January 1st for May
June 1st for August
Students should review the Graduation checklist view on Degreeworks (in the student tab at my.fordham.edu) each semester to assure they are making appropriate progress towards degree completion. Degreeworks will also confirm for you which requirements you still must complete.
Students are responsible for tracking their own progress towards their degree, and for making their faculty advisor and Dean Holt aware if there is an error or omission in Degreeworks.
On Commencement day, graduates are encouraged to arrive on campus no later than 8:00AM in order to give themselves time to prepare to line up and march onto Edwards Parade at 10:00AM. In addition the School hosts an informal breakfast in The Kitchen, Keating Hall room 307A for GSRRE graduates and their guests beginning at 8:00AM.
The full University ceremony takes place out-of-doors on the lawn directly west of Keating Hall. There is plenty of seating available for guests, but shade can be limited. The day can become quite warm, so all are cautioned to dress for the day's weather. For those more comfortable indoors, a broadcast of the festivities is available in Keating First Auditorium.
In the event of rain, the University always has a contingency plan, which will be available at that time. Generally GSRRE graduates are instructed to gather directly at Keating First Auditorium.
Immediately after the all-university ceremony, GSRRE hosts its own diploma ceremony, also in Keating First. This is a brief presentation, offering our graduates a chance to gather and both celebrate their achievements and receive their diplomas. Graduates are encouraged to particiapate in the planning of this intimate event. Any one interested in doing so may contact Dean Madden at the School's main office.
Cap and Gown rental/purchase may be made by going to www.herffjones.com/college/fordham. The deadline to reserve is 12:00midnight on Sunday April 7, 2013.
