Roslyn Chernesky










 ROSLYN CHERNESKY   Professor 
Dr. Chernesky received her B.A. from Brooklyn College, her MSW from the University of Pittsburgh, and Ph.D. in Social Work from City University of NY.  Dr. Chernesky began her work on women and management in the 1970's and has ten publications on the topic.  She has also written about trends in foundation funding, changing agency environments, case management, and services to older adults.  Dr. Chernesky provides consultation and training on continuous quality improvement, program evaluation, and building organizational capacity.  She is currently evaluating a SAMHSA program at St. Vincent's Medical Center serving dually diagnosed homeless men.  She teaches courses in client-centered management, administration, program and proposal development, and organizational theory.
