CHILDREN'S LOVECASTLES TRUST (CLT) is a non-profit, non-government organization devoted to the simple idea that every child has the right to equal learning opportunities and quality education. That can be realized only when opportunities to learn are made available in their own environment. Based outskirts of Bangalore, CLT has worked since 1997 to provide solutions to support and strengthen government schools in under-served communities in India.
THE DOROTHY DAY CENTER FOR SERVICE AND JUSTICE is grounded in the Jesuit philosophy of homines pro aliis, men and women for others. We work to create mutually beneficial relationships rooted in a respect for the dignity of allpersons. At Fordham, we want our students to reach their full potential of mind and heart beyond the self by serving in and learning from our surrounding communities.  We provide our students with the tools to explore their experiences together connecting service, justice, community and spirituality.   Link to the website.
EPISCOPAL COMMUNITY SERVICES' Preventive Services Program works with families whose children are at risk of foster care placement and/ or child abuse and neglect, due to caretaker's substance abuse or mental health problem.  They also work with families with domestic violence problems, lack of parenting skills to teens who are acting out at home and in school, etc.  They work to empower families to put services in place to ensure the safety and well-being of their minor children.   Link to the website.
GLOBAL OUTREACH is a program under the auspices of the Office of Mission and Ministry at Fordham University. Global Outreach is a cultural immersion and service program where Fordham students learn about various issues of social, economic, political and environmental injustice, while living a simple lifestyle that fosters communal and spiritual growth. We send teams of students consisting of approximately ten students, one student leader, and one chaperone to live, work, and learn with partnering organizations in approximately thirty locations throughout the United States and countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and Europe.  Link to the website.
MENTORING LATINAS is an innovative mentoring program that brings adolescent Latinas, daughters of immigrant families, onto college campuses to be mentored by Latina college women. Mentors and mentees meet weekly at Fordham University’s Rose Hill campus, where students get homework help, work at Fordham’s computer lab, learn to trust and confide in their mentors and get a real taste of college life.
's mission is to provide programs and services through grassroots partnerships to address the identified and emerging needs of at-risk, vulnerable, and exploited populations, including those displaced either by natural and/or man-made disasters internationally in developing countries.  Their pilot project, The Haiti Initiative (THI), focuses on 8 core areas including Youth Development & Education.
UNLEASHED is an after-school program that transforms the lives of middle school girls by involving them in all aspects of puppy rescue. At a pivotal time in their lives, girls learn to advocate for others; think critically about a complex social problem; and, most importantly, gain confidence in their ability to lead change.
