Comprehensive Services

Catholic Charities USA has launched the Campaign to Reduce Poverty in America. Poverty in America is a moral and social crisis. It threatens the health and economic well-being of our families and our nation as a whole. The goal of the Campaign is to cut the U.S. poverty rate in half by 2020. Unrealistic? Not if we work together. We call upon all in our nation to address the issues that impact the most vulnerable and act now to reduce poverty in our nation.

Hope for New York is a Christian ministry that helps ordinary people make an extraordinary difference. We mobilize and equip people to contribute their resources to the cause of mercy and justice in our city.

Taiwan Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation USA is a non-profit organization founded in 1966 by Dharma Master Cheng Yen in the impoverished east coast of Taiwan. The Foundation has been contributing to better social and community services, medical care, education and humanism for nearly 40 years. Master Cheng Yen firmly believes that suffering in this world is caused by material deprivation and spiritual poverty. She felt that "lack of love for others" has been the root of many problems in this world. "To save the world, we must begin by transforming human hearts."
