Are you interested in a leadership position in the nonprofit field, and to be part of a program that participants have labeled "invaluable", "powerful", and "vital"?
The Center provides a continuing education program uniquely taught by faculty from both the Graduate School of Social Service and Business Adminstration, offers each participant for one year a mentor who is a present or past nonprofit CEO, furnishes permanent support to participants through Center staff for as long as needed, creates an atmosphere in which participants support each other, and charges a greatly lowered, subsidized tuition so that all individuals can attend.

EXECUTIVE EDUCATION PROGRAM
Fall 2013
The Fordham Center's mission is to educate and support participants so they can be effective heads of nonprofit organizations. Participants who successfully complete the program receive an executive education certificate issued by both the Graduate School of Social Service and the Graduate School of Business Administration. Each participant is assigned a mentor for one year, who is a present or recently retired CEO of a nonprofit organization, to meet with as often as desired to discuss personal or professional issues relating to nonprofit leadership. Participants during the year are also invited to seminars on leading issues involving the nonprofit sector.
As Fordham's goal is to enhance the skills of all nonprofit leaders, especially in this current economic environment, the tuition for this program is only $535. To register for the Center's next training program, please download the brochure and application. For credit card payments, follow this link. There are two payment options. You can pay the full $535, or pay the balance of $435 if you have already submitted the $100 downpayment by check or money order.

NPL ALUMNI SPOTLIGHT
Keisha Allsop, MPA, is one of our Executive Education Training Program graduates. When she started our program she shared her story of wanting to start a nonprofit to educate her neighborhood about autism, which her son has.
Since completing our training she has started her own organization, United Communities Autism Network, Inc. (www.unitedcan.org). Her organization is now incorporated and is awaiting 501c3 status. She has also happily informed us that she is now a director at United Cerebral Palsy of New York. She credits our program! "The skills I have learned in the training allowed me to form the organization and better market my skills and abilities," she said.
Note: If any alumni would like to share their story, please email Sandra Guerra at sguerra@fordham.edu.
"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."
~ Margaret Mead
