Young Leaders' Conference & Professional Development Fair (NEW)
Take your nonprofit career to the next level. Join Fordham University GSS and the Young Nonprofit Professionals Network on Thursday, December 5, 2013 for the first annual Young Leaders' Conference (8am-3pm) and Professional Development Fair (7pm-9pm).
Hear from YNPN-NYC's past Nonprofiteers of the Year as they share the secrets of their successes, learn the ins & outs of key functions like programming & development, build your skills and improve your life with tips on effective volunteering & personal budgeting, and focus on your leadership skills.

ALCOHOLISM AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR TRAINING
You don't need a background in social work to become a New York State Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (C.A.S.A.C.) Our C.A.S.A.C. Program provides the education and training needed for the C.A.S.A.C. license.

COMMUNITY RESOURCE NETWORK(CRN) INITIATIVE (NEW & FREE)
The Continuing Education Department understands the need for agencies to gather together and share resources. It is through partnerships and linkages that organizations are able fill their gaps in service delivery and to help maintain consumer capacity in current programs. The C.R.N. is formed as a structured monthly gathering designed to allow agencies to meet and share comprehensive information on their services, upcoming events, and referral process.
The meetings will be held on the secondThursday of every month beginning on November 14th from 8:30am - 10:00am and will include refreshments. To register your agency, please click the registration button to provide us with the name of the organization, the representative(s) attending, and their position(s).
SELF CARE FOR SOCIAL WORKERS (FREE)
In our free monthy Self-Care for Social Workers class, you will practice different stress-relieving skills with your peers.
- Classes are held once a month on Tuesdays from 6:00PM - 7:30PM (Light Refreshments Provided)

BUILDING BETTER NONPROFIT MANAGEMENT LEADERS
The Fordham Center for Nonprofit Leaders is a new initiative jointly sponsored by the Graduate School of Social Service and the Graduate School of Business Administration. Participants have called it “invaluable,” “powerful” and “vital” for their careers.
The program offers top-notch executive training tailored to the needs of nonprofits, plus a year of private mentoring by a currect or recent CEO of a nonprofit organization.
The specialized program was founded and is run by Allan Luks, a renowned public service executive who was named the Nonprofit Leader of the Year by Crain's New York Business Magazine.

Courses are held mainly at our Lincoln Center Campus and occasionally in Westchester. We also offer online seminars. All programs are taught by experienced Fordham University faculty and adjuncts.
