BUILDING BETTER NONPROFIT MANAGEMENT LEADERS
The
Fordham Center for Nonprofit Leaders is a new initiative jointly sponsored by the Graduate School of Social Service and the Graduate School of Business Administration. Participants have called it “invaluable,” “powerful” and “vital” for their careers.
The program offers top-notch executive training tailored to the needs of nonprofits, plus a year of private mentoring by a currect or recent CEO of a nonprofit organization.
The specialized program was founded and is run by Allan Luks, a renowned public service executive who was named the Nonprofit Leader of the Year by
Crain's New York Business Magazine.

You don't need a background in social work to become a New York State Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (C.A.S.A.C.) Our
C.A.S.A.C Program provides the education and training needed for the C.A.S.A.C license.

FREE CLASS
SELF-CARE FOR SOCIAL WORKERS
Often, the title social worker goes hand in hand with the term career burnout. In fact, 75% of social workers report experiencing burnout, which has been linked to increased sick time, poor work performance, long term disability and a general feeling of oppression by work.
In our free monthy Self-Care for Social Workers class, you will practice different stress-relieving skills with your peers.
- Classes are held once a month on Thursdays.

*Periodically, we'll host a free, three-hour self care workshop will be provided to explain the signs and symptoms of burnout and vicarious trauma, and to share self care tools.
LOCATIONS
Courses are held mainly at our
Lincoln Center Campus and occasionally in
Westchester. We also offer
online seminars. All programs are taught by experienced Fordham University faculty and adjuncts.
