Participants will receive an exam specific study manual in electronic format which can be viewed online or printed. Imago Relationship Therapy: Flexible Access Clinical Training (F.A.C.T. A) (16 CEU credits)
Instructors: Harville Hendrix, PhD, and Carol Kramer-Slepian, LCSW
F.A.C.T. A is a two-day introductory course on the theoretical foundations and clinical applications of Imago Relationship Therapy, a powerful and effective approach to couples (and any dyadic) counseling. The program includes an introduction to the Imago dialogue, and trainings on relational developmental journeys, the dynamics of the powerstruggle, and creating healthier relationships. Participants will also be provided practical skills towards effective relational healing. At the conclusion of this introductory course participants may continue, at a discounted rate, the training to become official Imago certified therapists.

Communication in Chronic or Life-Limiting Illness (3 CEUs)

Clinical professionals in the field of social work and other health care disciplines regularly deal with the challenges that arise when their clients are diagnosed with chronic or life-limiting illnesses. Skilled communication techniques are key to providing the optimal level of education about the condition and minimizing psychosocial distress. This session will cover techniques of communication with clients with chronic or life-limiting conditions, an overview of treatment options that may be offered, and the ethical principles that drive how decisions are made at this time of life.
This course will be held on November 9th from 9:30am-12:30pm. The fee for the course is $60 (Early Bird by November 1st is $50).
