William "Bill" Madden is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who received his Master’s of Social Work from Fordham University in 1994. He has worked extensively in mental health assessment and treatment, primarily with the persistently mentally ill in both residential programs and homeless services. He has been a consultant on issues such as gay, lesbian and transgender concerns; community organizing; and serious mental illness. He is also a theater and film buff, and has traveled extensively, having crossed the Atlantic more than a dozen times via ocean liner. He has lectured on topics ranging from HIV/AIDS to Broadway musicals. He continues to serve as the Assistant Director of Admissions at Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Service. He is also adjunct professor with the Graduate School of Social Service.
