Driving Instructions
DROP OFF LOCATION AT BUTLER HALL ON CAMPUS
Off-site parking lots at Tappan Hill Restaurant and River Plaza - SHUTTLE BUSES
PLEASE ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR SHUTTLE BUSES
1) Via Cross-Westchester Expressway (Interstate 287): Take exit 1, Tarrytown. From the exit ramp, turn right onto Rte.119 (White Plains Road). Proceed along Rte.119 to the intersection with Broadway (Rte 9), approx. 1 mile. Turn right onto Broadway and proceed as in #5 below for drop-off only, proceed as in #7 for Parking Lot A, and proceed as in #8 for Parking Lot B
2) Via New York State Thruway (I.S. 87): Northbound, take the last exit before the Tappan Zee Bridge (exit 9, Rte 9, Tarrytown). At the end of the ramp, bear left toward Rte9 (Broadway). Turn right onto Rte 9. Proceed as in #5 below for drop off only, proceed as in #7 and #8 for parking lots
3) From New Jersey/New York via Tappan Zee Bridge
(N.Y.S Thruway, I.S 87): Get off at 1st exit after toll (exit 9). At the end of the ramp, turn right onto Rte. 9 (Broadway). Proceed as in 5, below for drop off only, proceed as in #7 and #8 for parking lots
4) Via Saw Mill River Parkway: Take Eastview exit ramp, turn left from north bound (right from south bound). Continue around Tarrytown lakes. Turn left onto Marymount Avenue to main entrance for drop-off only, proceed as in #7 and #8 for parking lots.
5) Local Streets: Go north on Broadway and proceed to the fourth traffic light at Neperan Ave. (located at the Main Street intersection). Turn right onto Neperan Ave., up the hill to Marymount Ave. Turn right unto Marymount Ave. to main campus entrance for drop off only. See #7 and #8 for off site parking.
6) From Connecticut: Take the Merriot Parkway or New England Thruway (I-95) orI-84 (to I-684) south bound to Interstate 287, Cross-Westchester Expressway, westbound. Follow directions from the Westchester-Expressway above.
7) PARKING LOT A at Tappan Hill Restaurant: From Broadway (heading north) turn right onto Benedict Avenue. Proceed to Highland Avenue intersection and turn left onto Highland proceeding to first stop sign. Make left turn into entrance to Tappan Hill/Abigail Kirsch restaurant lot.
8) PARKING LOT B at River Plaza Lot: From Broadway (heading north) turn left at Main Street/Neperan Avenue intersection onto Main Street. Travel down hill to Depot Plaza/Cortland Street intersection making right turn. River Plaza lot is on the right ("A Farms" closed business is located in the lot).
BY TRAIN
From Grand Central Terminal in New York City, take the Hudson division of Metro-North to Tarrytown. There is taxi service from the station to the campus (about two miles).
