Kathryn Krase

earned her B.S. from Cornell University’s College of Human Ecology in Policy Analysis. She then went on to earn her M.S.W. and J.D. as the first joint degree law and social work student at Fordham University. After graduating, Ms. Krase served as the Program Director for the Parent Education and Custody Effectiveness (PEACE) Program in New York City Family Court while also a law guardian for the New York Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children in Manhattan Family Court. She then worked as the Borough Coordinator for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) in Bronx Family Court. Ms. Krase teaches Social Work and the Law, Social Policy, and Social Justice for Fordham’s Graduate School of Social Service. She has a strong interest in promoting interdisciplinary practice in child welfare systems. Ms. Krase currently serves as the Associate Director for Fordham's Interdisciplinary Center for Family and Child Advocacy.
