HOWARD ROBINSON, DSW, LCSW, Clinical Associate Professor
Dr. Robinson teaches Generalist Practice, HBSE, Family Oriented Treatment, and the Advanced Practice Seminar with a specialization in children and families. He has taught at Fordham since 1986 and served as the Associate Director of the Fordham Post-Graduate Certificate Program in Child and Adolescent Therapy. Dr. Robinson's dissertation, "Metaphors of the String Quartet," was an outgrowth of his background in classical music and interest in groupwork. As a clinical social worker, Dr. Robinson specializes in couple treatment, consults with professional music ensembles, and supervizes social workers in clinical practice. Dr. Robinson is a serious student of Mandarin and is interested in developing collaborative projects in curriculum development with universities and colleges in the People's Republic of China.
