NOTE

The only official "breaks" from field are outlined above.  Students are expected to be in their field placements at all other times during the academic year.  Students who miss scheduled time due to agency closings are expected to make up that time.  All students must complete 600 hours in the field.  Time off, even if approved, is not considered part of those hours (except for the Integrative Seminar).

Students are expected to remain in their practicum until the last regularly scheduled day of fieldwork.  Exceptions to this contractual agreement for 14-hour students are made only with agency and Field Instruction office permission in advance.  In NO instance may students end placement before scheduled classes end in May.
