Fordham China Summer Study 2014

In collaboration with Fordham's partner university in Bejing, the China Youth University of Political Sciences (CYU), GSS is very pleased to offer our master of social work students the opportunity to take a 3 credit elective taught by our faculty in the China Youth University of Political Sciences (CYU) in Bejing this summer. CYU is located in the Haidian District in Beijing, where many leading universities in China are also located.  CYU is offering discounted rates to our students who will enroll in these courses at an on-campus hotel.

The classes will run for three weeks from May 27 – June 17 (most likely 3 1/2 hours, 3 days a week) and are our advanced electives.  Students must have completed Foundation year.  Students will also have many opportunities to visit social service agencies in Beijing and interact with CYU social work students and faculty.

The cost for the class is the same as our regular tuition, plus airfare and housing.  There is an on-campus hotel that is offered to students at a discounted rate.

Registration begins in mid-December 2013.
For more information and application see our Course DescriptionsPlease register on for your first choice.  We will need a $200 deposit.  (This is non-refundable after March 1, 2014.)
