RITA COSBY

Renowned Emmy Winning TV Host and Veteran Correspondent Rita Cosby will be speaking at a Learned Lunch on Saturday, May 4th from 12:40pm to 1:30pm in Room 519.  All students are welcome to attend and pizza and soda will be served.  There is no RSVP required for this event.


LMSW REVIEW SESSIONS AND TARGETED LEARNING SESSIONS

LMSW Reviews have been scheduledon the LC Campus for graduating students ONLY.  All sessions are the same, you need only attend one.  There is no charge.  These sessions are a repeat of those held in February so no new information will be presented.  Sign up on the door of Room #717E.


Targeted Learning Sessions covering Practice, Assessment and Ethics will also be held.  Sessions are identical so there is no need to attend more than one.  These sessions are also being held on the LC Campus. 



LMSW ONLINE PRACTICE QUESTIONS

LC Campus

Room 712 has practice questions loaded on the two computers next to the teacher's desk.  There is daily availability, and you should limit your time to 2 hours.  Room 704 has one computer that is available Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 5:00pm.  

We also have Laptops available for home use.  There is a 3-day limit and a $40 refundable deposit is required.  For home use, please contact Dean Sandra Turner at .

WC Campus 

Practice tests are available daily on one of the computers in the computer lab,Room 220.  Passcodes and directions are printed next to the computer.  Please limit use to 2 hours during peak times.

Laptop computers are available for short-term loans.  Please note there is a $40 refundable deposit collected at the time of sign-out.  Contact Laura Sutter at lsutter@fordham.edu or (914) 367-3108.  You can also visit her office in Room 106A.


GRADUATION PARTIES

LC Campus: The Lincoln Center Graduation Party will be held on Friday, May 17th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm in the Pope Auditorium.  Graduates are invited to bring guests.  The cost is $20/per person which includes dinner, drinks, and dancing.  If you paln to attend you must RSVP to Johnny Torres beforehand so we can ensure seating and food.  He is located in Room 726.  He can also be reached by email at jtorres@fordham.edu.  You can pay when you sign up or later at the door the night of the event. 

WC Campus: The Westchester Campus Graduation BBQ will be held on Wednesday, May 15th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.  The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children (maximum fee per family $30).  Please RSVP to Laura Sutter at lsutter@fordham.edu or (914) 367-3108.


COMMENCEMENT

Commencement for GSS is Monday, May 20th at Avery Fisher Hall.  The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm, and doors will open for guests at 3:30pm.  Graduates should report to Lincoln Center no later than 2:30pm.
