Learned Lunch events continue this month.  Pre-registration is required!  Refreshments will be served unless otherwise indicated.

GRADUATION INFORMATION SESSIONS

We will be holding two meetings regarding the May 22nd graduation. The first will be held on Saturday, April 12th and the second will be held on Tuesday, April 15th.  If you are a May or August 2014graduate, please plan to attend one of the information sessions and bring your questions!

NOTE: Invitations and tickets will be given out in April. Please pay attention to flyers posted only on the 7th floor (LC Campus). Each student will receive four (4) tickets. Please be reminded that Cap and Gown registrations are due online to the Company
by April 4th.
 

The 2014 MSW Job Fair will be held on Thursday, April 10th from 11:00am until 3:00pm.  The event will take place at Columbia’s Alfred Lerner Hall, located at 114th Street and Broadway. We expect over 80 agencies from the tri-state area to attend. Bring plenty of resumes and dress for success! Questions? Contact Albaliz Tello at tello@fordham.edu.  This event is for graduating students and alumni only! 

Ms. Tello will complete her Career Workshop Series with "Preparing for the Job Fair" on the LC Campus.
 
LMSW REVIEW SESSIONS AND TARGETED LEARNING SESSIONS (LC Campus)

LMSW Reviews have been scheduled for graduating students ONLY. All sessions are the same, you need only attend one. There is no charge. These sessions are a repeat of those already held so no new information will be presented.
  • Wednesday, April 16th from 6:00 -9:00 pm - Pope Auditorium
  • Saturday, June 14th  from 1:00 - 4:00 pm - Pope Auditorium
Sign up on the door of Room 717-E.

A Targeted Learning Session covering Practice, Assessment and Ethics will also be held on Wednesday, June 11th from 1pm to 5pm - Room 713. Sign up is on the door of room 717-E.
 
GRADUATION PARTY

The Lincoln Center Graduation Party will be held on Friday, May 16th from 6pm until 10pm in the Pope Auditorium. Graduates are invited to bring guests. The cost is $20/per person which includes dinner, drinks, and dancing. If you plan to attend you MUST RSVP to Johnny Torres beforehand so we can ensure seating and food. He is located in Room 726. He can also be reached by email at jtorres@fordham.edu. You can pay when you sign up or later at the door the night of the event. SAVE THE DATE!
 
FIELD PLANNING FORMS ONLINE

If you will be entering your First Year Foundation Field Placement in September, your online Field Planning Forms were due on March 31st. Second year online planning forms are now past due. If you have not submitted your online forms, please be in touch with the Field Work Office
 
THE FORDHAM CENTER FOR NONPROFIT LEADERS

On Wednesday, April 23rd from 8:30am to 10am in the 12th Floor Lounge, Drs. Rosa Gil and Edward Eismann will present on “Meeting the Needs of Vulnerable Populations in New York City”. There will be a lecture, questions and answers, and the opportunity to network with peers. A light breakfast will be served. This lecture is free and open to the public.
 
FOUNDATION STUDENTS - GOT QUESTIONS?

A panel of advanced year students from across the spectrum of concentrations will be available to answer your questions about advanced year. Feel free to pop in to room 713 (LC Campus) during the lunch time on April 3rd.
