Online MSW Program Admission Requirements

The Office of Admissions provides direction throughout your experience in applying for the Online Master of Social Work program.  We are available to assist you with the application process or securing financial aid.  As a responsive Admission team we are prepared to assist you in your decision to apply and in your application process.

In addition to meeting the general admission requirements for the on campus MSW program, the Online MSW program is specifically designed for students living in NY, NJ or CT who reside more than 50 miles from Fordham's NY metro campuses.  View our map for more information.

The Online MSW Program offers admission into a Fall or Spring cohort.  Students will follow a unique plan of study tailored to the semester they choose to start the program.  Please visit the Online MSW Plans of Study page to view these options.

An Advanced Standing option is also available to transfer students and Bachelor of Social Work graduates who have achieved a high level of academic performance and a successful field work experience.  Please visit the GSS Advanced Standing Option page for more information.
