Registration in done on-line through my.fordham. Do not wait until the last minute to familiarize yourself with the system. Waiting may only deter you at registration time.

SCHOOL CLOSINGS
The University may cancel classes or close the university due to adverse weather conditions. Information on school closings will be available through two numbers directly linked to the university – 212-636-7777 or 800-280-SNOW. Announcements will also be made every 15 minutes on the university radio station – WFUV 90.7 FM. Classes may be cancelled at one campus while continuing at another. Close attention should be paid to such distinctions when monitoring radio reports or calling the snow numbers.
CHILD ABUSE SEMINAR
A requirement for New York State licensure upon graduating is the completion of a two hour course on the detection and reporting of child abuse. For your convenience we are offering, at a discounted rate of $15, four individual seminar dates during the academic year. The first seminar is scheduled for December 9th from 6:00 to 8:30pm. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Forms for this first training can be picked up in Room 726. We will offer three more seminars during the spring semester – February 17th and April 28th from 11:30am to 2pm and March 10th from 6pm to 8:30pm. Please be reminded that space is limited.
EQUITY FOR CHILDREN
Please join us on November 12th from 12:40 through 1:30 PM in room 713 to launch a very exciting collaboration between Fordham University's Graduate School of Social Service and the New School's Graduate Program in International Affairs. The initiative, Equity for Children seeks to engage students and scholars in promoting awareness, increased knowledge and action about issues affecting equity for children and the realization of their rights worldwide. Come hear about the events and opportunities for students to participate in global conferences, travel, and learning opportunities in the
coming year.
Lunch will be served so please RSVP to Sarah Voisine at voisine@fordham.edu by November 10th.
WRITING ADVISEMENT
Kathryn O’Hagan continues her writing seminars on APA format on November 14th in Room 713. Her final date for this semester will be December 5th.
