Dear CBA G.L.O.B.E. Students,
As a College of Business Administration student, you have many options to gain a competitive edge and leadership skills in this global economy. The G.L.O.B.E. Program is a viable option. This International Business Program prepares business students to be executives for multinational careers in global companies by experiencing the global capital of business- New York City and the world through focused international internships and optional study abroad/tour opportunities.
Once you declare your major or concentration, you also have the opportunity to acquire global competencies through a G.L.O.B.E. Specialization. By acquiring specific business skills with an application to a culture of your choice, a G.L.O.B.E. student through rigorous international studies, cultural courses, language requirements, study abroad programs and/or international internships fulfills the G.L.O.B.E. requirements.
- G.L.O.B.E. Program- Global Learning Opportunities and Business Experiences –Fordham’s premier international interdisciplinary business specialization -an innovative program which celebrates the synergy of business and culture, language, theory, and practice.
- Many Fordham alumni who are multinational executives have succeeded in this global economy, strongly encourage business students to possess not just business skills and acumen but also a clear, understanding of the culture, language, and customers of the countries they serve.
If you are interested in applying to the G.L.O.B.E. Program, visit www.fordham.edu/cba for specific requirements, attend monthly meetings, and download application. Seniors are required to meet with me at the beginning of the Fall Semester.
