Information Systems

Know of a leading business that runs without technology? We challenge you to find one. Know of a pathway to the top business-technology careers? We challenge you to try the Gabelli program in information systems.

For students who envision themselves as CIOs, managing and overseeing technology for a large organization, information systems at Fordham provides the knowledge needed for the highest-level jobs. In this remarkable blend of computer science and commerce, students learn on how to put technology into action to resolve business problems and advance a company.

Students may choose a major or concentration in the management of information systems. Those interested in cutting-edge technology specifically for accounting also may be interested in the accounting information systems major, which is housed under the accounting area but features a slate of information systems courses.

Many high-profile companies come to Fordham to recruit our information systems students, including Google, Microsoft, AOL and prominent banks.
