Professor Romeo is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in New York State and the State of Massachusetts, and formerly an Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), in the Investment Management Services practice, until joining Fordham University in January 2004.  During her time at PwC, Professor Romeo specialized in alternative investment structures, such as hedge funds and private equity funds.  She also has experience in the areas of regulated mutual funds and broker-dealers.  Professor Romeo holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Finance.  She is the Director of Undergraduate Accounting at Fordham University and a member of Fordham University’s business adjunct faculty, as well as a consultant and educator to a variety of businesses and regulators.

Professor Romeo is a member of American Institute of CPAs; New York State Society of CPAs; American Women’s Society of CPAs; Beta Alpha Psi; and Beta Gamma Sigma.
