Gina Hill LoBasso

Gina Hill LoBasso, marketing pre-professional advisor and director of the Marketing Leadership Program, has more than 25 years of experience across business and academia, specializing in the areas of marketing strategy, advertising, branding and sales management.
Ms. LoBasso's industry experience includes more than 11 years in business-to-business marketing and sales management, most recently as director of direct marketing sales for computer publisher Ziff Davis. There, she managed a successful sales team and oversaw all aspects of sales training and coaching, development of domestic and international sales and marketing strategies, and creation of corporate relationships with Microsoft, IBM, Apple and others. Ms. LoBasso has consulted for various for-profit and nonprofit organizations on domestic and international operations; her responsibilities have included developing competitive marketing and sales strategies and designing professional development and management skills workshops.
On the academic side, Ms. LoBasso has taught marketing at Pace University and at Fordham, and she has served as an assistant professor of mass communication at Iona College, from which she holds an M.B.A. On track to receive her doctorate in 2012, she is conducting research for her dissertation, titled "Identifying Innovative Opportunities in Nonprofit Organizations: A Case Study of the United Way Not-for-Profit Management Training Center."
