Michael Polito
Director of Global Academic Affairs

Michael Polito joined the Gabelli School of Business in 2011 as assistant dean of international programs, and in 2014 he expanded his work to cover both undergraduate and graduate levels as Director of Global Academic Affairs. Passionate about global understanding, Michael has applied himself academically in a broad range of comparative studies, earning his bachelor’s degree in religious studies from Fairfield University and a master’s from Yale University in divinity studies and ethics. He has studied at Christ Church, Oxford University, and spent most of the last decade working in international and business education in Japan. Michael is now focused on integrating topics in multiculturalism and peace studies into business education and on fostering a greater understanding between the cultures of East and West through program development and study-abroad initiatives. He is also working on a PhD in administration and leadership at Fordham’s Graduate School of Education. An enthusiast of contemporary art, architecture and design, Michael also has worked in development for the internationally acclaimed Philip Johnson Glass House, a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
