Assistant Dean for Transfers
Assistant Dean Steven Najdzionek brings a special expertise to his role as advisor to Gabelli School transfer students: He began his Fordham business education as a transfer student himself. Dean Najdzionek has a long educational history at Fordham, earning a B.S. in business administration with a concentration in management and decision sciences at the Gabelli School, followed by an M.B.A. in information and communications systems at the graduate level. Presently, he is working toward a doctorate in educational leadership and policy in Fordham's Graduate School of Education.
Dean Najdzionek has an equally extensive career as a Gabelli School administrator, beginning in 1986. In addition to his responsibilities for transfer students, he coordinates the Integrated Learning Community for Global Business, oversees students who are earning a Gabelli certificate in sports business, and advises Fordham College students who are pursuing business minors through the Gabelli School. He has helped the university to develop key partnerships for international study, has made connections between Fordham and prominent business organizations such as the New York Society of Security Analysts, and has presented at numerous conferences around the country and abroad.
